Drug Task Force Finds Eight Pounds of Marijuana in Woman's Home

Detectives said they also found drug sale ledgers, $3,300 in cash, and items used to sell marijuana in the home.

St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives found more than 8 pounds of marijuana in a woman’s home in St. Peters Tuesday.

Angela Marie Miller, 32, of the 1400 block of Sandra Elaine Drive in St. Peters, was charged Wednesday with distributing a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug-related items.

Drug Task Force detectives served a search warrant on Miller’s home Tuesday and found 8 pounds and 7.5 ounces of marijuana in her bedroom closet. According to the report, most of the marijuana was in large, heat-sealed plastic bags, but several bags were being condensed into smaller bags for sale.

Detectives said they found several ledgers documenting marijuana sales for thousands of dollars and money order receipts for transfer of funds believed to be from marijuana sales.

They also found drug-related items such as marijuana pipes, foil pipes, digital scales, sandwich bags and a heat-sealing machine in Miller’s bedroom.

A safe under her bed contained $3,300, which was seized pending forfeiture, the report said.

Bail for Miller was set at $20,000, cash only.
