Friday Night Spotlight: St. Peters Unbeaten Teams Look to Stay Perfect in Week 3
In Week 3, Zumwalt South, Zumwalt East and Lutheran St. Charles look to stay unbeaten.
August is over and two weeks are in the books. As the weather turns colder, the teams start to separate.
Week 3 is set to kick off on Friday—this time Hurricane Isaac free. There's some big matchup on the schedule this week. Let's see what games are going down for the St. Peters schools.
Fort Zumwalt South (2-0) vs. Francis Howell North (0-2) at 7 p.m.
Fort Zumwalt South has been consistent through two weeks of the 2012 season. In each game the Bulldogs has put up 21 points on offense and played enough defense to get a win.
The Bulldogs, 5-5 in 2011, are looking to stay unbeaten in 2012 with a Week 3 win against the winless Francis Howell North Knights. Friday's game will be the first home game of the season for South.
Howell North has had an interesting start to the season. Offensively the Knights have average 20 points a game. Unfortunately, on defense, the Knights are giving up 40.5 points per contest. Last week Zumwalt East took out the Knights 42-20.

The East offense has been hot through two weeks scoring an impressive 76 points—38 per game. On Friday they'll get a big test, taking on a defense that just gave up a mere seven points.
Francis Howell, 2-0, is fresh off a 31-7 win against Webster Groves. The Vikings have been stingy this year giving up a scant 21 points in two games.

Lutheran High School of St. Charles County (2-0) vs. St. Mary's (0-0) at 7 p.m.
The surprise team of 2012 so far may just be the Lutheran Cougars. After not winning a single game in 2011, the Cougars have jumped out to a 2-0 start in 2012.
In Week 2, Lutheran was dominant against DuBourg. Lutheran put up 30 points and prevented DuBourg from scoring.
Week 3 will be the big test for the Cougars. The will take on the St. Mary's Dragons. St. Mary's is 2-0 and has yet to give up more than seven points in a contest.

Central will be taking on Parkway South. The Patriots are unbeaten in 2012 and pulled out a 7-0 win last week.
