Week 6 is here and there's some big matchup on the schedule this week as we enter the second half of the season. Let's see what games are going down for the St. Peters schools. 

Fort Zumwalt South (3-2) at Fort Zumwalt East (4-1) at 7 p.m.

Fort Zumwalt South, riding a two-game losing streak, won't have to go far for its Week 6 road game. The Bulldogs just need to travel down Mexico Road to take on rival Zumwalt East.

After a big 3-0 start, the Bulldogs are 0-2 in GAC Central play. Last week, against Washington, the Bulldogs were throttled 67-21. Prior to the 67 points allowed, South had given up just 59 points all season. 

Getting back to winning won't be easy. South will face a red-hot East team that has lost just once this season.

East, backed by a potent offense, is 4-1 on the year and beat Zumwalt North 38-26 last week. In three of the four wins this year, East has scored at least 30 points. 

Lutheran High School of St. Charles County (2-3) at Trinity (1-4) at 7 p.m. 

A losing streak will get stopped at Trinity on Friday night. The Lutheran Cougars, winless in their last three, will face off against Trinity, losers of four straight.

Following a 2-0 start the season; Lutheran has fallen on hard times the last three weeks. The Cougars have given up at least 37 points in the last weeks and, not surprisingly, have three losses. Last week the Cougars fell to O'Fallon Christian 43-20.

Trinity has struggled more than Lutheran in 2012. Trinity has given up 36.8 points per game this year and hasn't won since Week 1. 

Francis Howell Central (1-4) vs. Timberland (1-4) at 7 p.m

Francis Howell Central finally picked up a win in 2012 in Week 5 and did so in a big way. The Spartans thrashed Howell North 34-0 to get the elusive win No. 1. 

Howell Central will try and pick up win No. 2 in a GAC South tilt against another 1-4 squad. Timberland is on a four-game losing skid after a Week 1 win. The Wolves have scored just 63 points in 2012.
