Man Accused of Sexually Trafficking a Minor Pleads to Lesser Charge
Police reported the man originally asked a woman to bring him a "12-year-old virgin" so he could have sex with her.

A man originally charged with sexual trafficking of a child under age 18 and other crimes pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to reduced charges of soliciting prostitution and drug possession.
Mohammad Teimoortagh, was given a $300 fine for soliciting prostitution, a misdemeanor, and a $5,000 fine for possession of a controlled substance.
On Sept. 28, a St. Charles County grand jury indicted Teimoortagh on charges of attempted sexual trafficking of a child under age 18, first-degree promoting prostitution, second-degree attempted statutory rape and possession of a controlled substance.
Previously, St. Peters Police and St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives reported that Teimoortagh had approached a police informant and asked her to provide him with a 12-year-old virgin with whom he could have sex.
The woman told police about the encounter and in cooperation with police set up a rendezvous with Teimoortagh at a St. Peters hotel. She agreed give him a 14-year-old girl in exchange for $100. However, the girl never existed.
Instead, St. Peters Police arrested Teimoortagh when he arrived.
Teimoortagh also had 59 grams of marijuana with him when he was arrested Aug. 6.
Neither Teimoortagh’s attorney, Matthew Fry of the Rosenblum, Schwartz, Rogers & Glass law firm, nor St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney Jack Banas returned phone calls from Patch Thursday.

The comments appearing with this story a few days ago have disappeared from the site. One comment, signed by Devon Seddon commented that a original witness had lied to police for her own reasons and that Mr. Teimoortagh had actually been guilty only of soliciting a prostitute (not a 12 or 14 year old child) and possession of marijuana. Thus his guilty plea to those crimes. I emailed Joe Scott, asking if this information was accurate or not. I look forward to hearing back from Mr. Scott and discovering if there is more to this story or if the original story was indeed the complete story. I enjoy the Wentzville Patch site and appreciate being able to keep up with local news that sometimes doesn't make the newspapers.

Devon was right. I guess that's what happens when you believe a drug addicted prostitute. Criminal informants should be drug tested. She's gettin what's coming to her though saint Charles county is now pressing charges against her.
