St. Peters Man Found Drunk with Illegal Firearm
St. Charles Police said the man was drunk and loading the .22 cal Magnum.
A St. Peters man was charged Monday with unlawful possession of a firearm.
St. Charles Police said in a report that Gabriel Kinder, 31, of the 1500 block of Garden Valley in St. Peters, was drunk and was loading a .22 cal Magnum handgun. Six people saw him loading the weapon in the 2400 block of Falcons Way in St. Charles, police said.
After police arrived, they discovered that it was illegal for Kinder to possess a firearm. He had been convicted of a second-degree assault in 2002, and was found guilty of illegally possessing a firearm in 2008.
Bond was set at $10,000.
