Update: Police Identify Man Dead After Single-Car Crash in St. Peters
St. Peters resident Troy Picker dies after crashing his truck at St. Peters intersection early Friday morning.

St. Peters Police are investigating a fatal single-car crash that happened early Friday morning.
Troy Picker, a 40-year-old St. Peters resident, died after being involved in a crash at approximately 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Spencer Loop South.
St. Peters Police said Picker was travelling westbound on Veterans Memorial Parkways when his 2004 GMC truck veered off the roadway and struck a traffic light concrete support. He appeared to have died instantly and was not wearing a seatbelt. Picker was alone in his truck and no other vehicles were involved. Police do not know at this time what caused the accident.
The accident is currently under investigation by the St. Peters Police Department Traffic Unit.
A 40-year-old man from St. Charles County is dead after crashing his truck at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Spender Loop South early Friday morning, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
According to the report, the man, who has not yet been identified, was driving his 2004 GMC truck just before 1:30 a.m. when he veered onto the right shoulder and hit a concrete support before dying instantly.
