A St. Peters man pleaded guilty to six sex crimes Friday in St. Charles County Circuit Court.
Jason Champion, 22, of the first block of Churchill Downs Drive in St. Peters, entered a guilty plea to two counts of sexual assault, two counts of second-degree statutory rape, and two counts of statutory sodomy.
Circuit Court Judge Ted House sentenced Champion to seven years in prison on each count. The sentences will run concurrently.
Prosecutors dismissed five charges against Champion: two counts of forcible rape, two counts of child molestation and one count of forcible sodomy.
Champion was accused of raping a 16-year-old girl at a mutual friend's apartment. The victim told police the two weren't alone in the apartment, but Champion waited until everyone was asleep before raping her.
More charges were filed as more allegations surfaced in St. Charles.
