Week 10 of the high school football season in Missouri is no longer a battle to improve playoff standings. Instead, it's a chance to keep playing—or see a season end.
Wanting to have every regular season game count, the powers that be changed the playoff format this season. A complex point system was created to make sure every game played weighed into the playoff seeding. After nine games, the seeds are set and the Week 10 matchups are in place.
Here are the Week 10 matchups for St. Charles County teams in the first round of the playoffs:

* Note: Some seeds have been altered despite the standings. Thanks to a challenge rule, if two teams have played each other this season and are back-to-back in seeds, they can challenge the seeding. So, for example, in Class 5, District 3, Zumwalt East placed second based on record on points. However, Holt beat East 35-13 in Week 7. Holt was able to challenge and get the second seed instead of the third.
