The summer is the season for road work and some overnight work is coming to St. Peters on Tuesday. 

The entrance ramp near Mid Rivers Mall  to eastbound Interstate 70 will close at 10 p.m., according to a report in the  St. Louis Post-Dispatch . The ramp will close Tuesday night to allow for crew to work on the highway bridge over Spencer Creek.

The ramp is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Drivers heading eastbound on the outer road will be directed to enter the highway at the next interchange at Cave Springs Boulevard.

The Missouri Department of Transportation originally had scheduled the work for overnight Monday, but rain ruined those plans.
