This week Patch launched its first-ever St. Charles County Munch Madness tournament! 

Munch Madness runs along the same lines as the much-hyped college basketball tournament, except it uses St. Charles County restaurants instead of college basketball squads. 

That's right, 64 restaurants all vying for top status in the county. All matchups were found by creating a randomized list via random.org.

How do they advance, you ask? It all depends on your vote—on the site, our Facebook page and Twitter feed! To learn more about the tournament CLICK HERE.

Here are some basic rules and regulations:

• Restaurants will advance based on the number of votes they get on each Patch's website and their Facebook and Twitter accounts. The restaurant with the most votes at the end of the matchup will advance.
• Readers can vote by leaving a comment on the posted article for a given matchup. Twitter followers can vote by tagging a Patch's Twitter handle and adding their vote. And Facebook fans can vote by leaving a comment on the Facebook status that coordinates with the given matchup. 
• One vote per user, Twitter follower and Facebook fan. If you follow us on all three platforms like you should, that's three votes!
• Voting periods will be as long as the round in which you are voting.

Lil' Mickey's Memphis Barbeque vs. Erio's Ristorante

Lil' Mickey's Memphis Barbeque: Lil' Mickey's serves up delicious sandwiches, dinners and platters all adorned with authentic Memphis barbeque sauce. Erio's Ristorante: Owned and operated by Pete and Joan Pulizzi, Erio's has been located at this location since 1991 and offers traditional Italian fare that is cooked to order using only the freshest ingredients. The Mother-In-Law House Restaurant vs. Padavan's NY

The Mother-In-Law House Restaurant: Set in a building that was built in 1866 and dubbed as the first brick double house, this restaurant has a quaint indoor setting along with a gorgeous tree-covered outdoor patio with a view of the Missouri River. It serves lunch and dinner with a three hour lull in between. The menu offers items such as the half-pound burger, the Mother-In-Law combo of half a sandwich and choice of salad, soup or french fries, chicken cordon bleu, filet mignon and stuffed flounder. Padavan's NY: Padavan's NY is a restaurant and bar located in New Town.
