A man faces drug charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said he sold heroin to an undercover officer in St. Peters. Officials said they found 67 heroin doses in the man’s car.
Michael Watson Jr, 28, of the 100 block of East Desoto Avenue in St. Louis was charged Tuesday with selling a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Task Force detectives said Watson sold an undercover officer heroin Dec. 10 at 1220 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. The officer then set up another heroin purchase Monday near 150 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters.
However, a St. Charles County deputy arrested Watson when he showed up. The deputy said he found 67 doses of heroin in Watson’s car. Detectives said Watson admitted to selling heroin to support his own habit.
