Police Seek Man Who Robbed Smith Jewelry in St. Peters
St. Peters Police are looking for a man was stole 100 rings from a jewelry store early Monday.
St. Peters Police are looking for a man who robbed Smith Jewelry in St. Peters early Monday morning.
At approximately 10:40 a.m. a white male, described as between 40- and 50-years-old with a short and stocky build and white feathered hair with a white beard and goatee, entered the jewelry store at 4213 Old Highway 94. The suspect displayed a handgun to an employee and demanded various trays of jewelry. The suspect then fled with about 100 assorted rings. The rings were described as mostly gold with a few having stones.
The suspect was last seen driving a white Ford Explorer.
Anyone with information about the suspect or stolen jewelry is asked to contact St. Peters Police Detective Paul Barish at 636-278-2244 ext. 3531.
Police are also advising pawn stores and businesses that buy gold to be on the lookout for the stolen supplies.
