Police: St. Peters Woman Stole Items from Walmart, Sold Them on eBay
Walmart security caught the woman removing security devices, concealing them and leaving without paying.
A woman was charged with stealing items worth more than $500 at the St. Peters Walmart.
Ryvana Deeann Hase-Rish, 34, of the first block of Elmdale Lane in St. Peters, was charged with class C felony stealing.
St. Peters Police said Walmart security saw Hase-Rish and others on July 18 removing security devices, concealing them and attempting to leave without paying. Security said they recognized Hase-Rish as the same person in a similar incident on July 12.
They found more stolen items in her car and home, according to the report. Hase-Rish did not consent to a search of three sealed and labeled boxes in her car's trunk, police said in the report.
Police said Hase-Rish told them she would steal items from retail stores and sell them on eBay and other online sites.
Hase-Rish posted bond, which was set at $10,000.
