St. Peters Driver Uninjured After Crash on Highway 94

A St. Peters teen was unharmed after being rear-ended on Friday.

An 18-year-old St. Peters resident was unharmed after being rear-ended on Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tyler Hurst was stopped for traffic on eastbound Highway 94, just west of Zumbehl. Just before 5:45 p.m. a second car, driven by 53-year-old Edward Linson, of St. Charles, failed to notice Hurst's 2005 Dodge Stratus was stopped.

Linson's 2003 Mitsubishi Galant proceeded to strike the rear of Hurst's car. Linson was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles with minor injuries. Hurst did not need medical attention.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.

Hurst's car sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Linson's car had extensive damage and was towed.
