The St. Peters Justice Center is a three story maze of offices, holding cells, crime labs and more. On Sunday, tour groups were able to get an up-close look at the recently-opened building.

The St. Peters Police Department hosted an open house from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tour groups met in the Municipal Court room before being given a guided tour of the building.

Groups were given exclusive access to nearly every nook and cranny in the three-story building. The tours, led by St. Peters Police personnel, explored all the various parts of the building. Groups got to see the booking area, holding cells and labs. The tour also took a trip the Emergency Operations Center.

Tours rolled on throughout the day with many people showing up for the free event.

The Justice Center, located at 1020 Grand Teton Drive, opened for business in September 2010. The building was recently finished.
