The city of St. Peters kicked off the holiday season on Friday night with the 22nd annual tree lighting ceremony.
A crowd packed into the Cultural Arts Centre at St. Peters City Hall for a night of holiday music and lights. The Fort Zumwalt East orchestra kicked things off with some holiday tunes.
After that, the St. Peters Performing Arts Music Studio gave a teaser presentation of it's "'Glee'ful Holiday Celebration" show. The St. Peters Choral Society also sang a few songs to the packed house.
Lindenwood's Vocals Only sang more songs and finally the tree in front of City Hall was lit kicking off the 2011 holiday season.

It was great seeing all the smiling faces coming through the door. City Hall this time of year would be a wonderful place to bring your family to enjoy the lights and our beautiful Christmas tree.
