St. Peters Man Uninjured After Two-Car Crash on Interstate 270

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on Sunday.

A St. Peters man avoided injury in a Sunday afternoon crash.

Nicholas Viviano, 50, was traveling northbound in lane two on the ramp from Interstate 270 to Missouri Route 180 in St. Louis County. Viviano changed lanes and the right front side of his 2000 Ford Mustang struck the left side of a second vehicle, a 2008 Jeep Cherokee driven by St. Charles resident Ashley Reyland, 29.

The collision of the two vehicles caused Reyland to be taken by Pattonville EMS to Mercy Medical Center. The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report said her injuries were minor.

The crash report says that both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.
