Four men were arrested by St. Peters Police for a string of thefts from vehicles in the area. 

The four men, all from St. Peters, were between 17- and 19-years-old. Charges range from stealing, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property. The four men arrested were: 

Destine D. Kelly

• 18-year-old black male
• From: 200 block of Laurelwood Drive in St. Peters
• Charge: Stealing more than $500 (firearm)
• Bond: $2,000

Kyle B. Schoelhamer

• 18-year-old white male
• 200 block of Laurelwood Drive in St. Peters
• Charge: Receiving stolen property
• Bond: $2,000

Timothy T. Hogg

• 17-year-old white male
• first block of Kirkwood Court in St. Peters
• Charge: Receiving stolen property and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia
• Bond: $2,000

Dakota T. Ivanoff

• 19-year-old white male
• first block of Sweetbriar Court in St. Peters
• Charge: Receiving stolen property

The Criminal Investigations Bureau of the St. Peters Police Department received a tip on July 25, that the four subjects were involved in the thefts from vehicles. During the police investigation, police discovered that Kelley allegedly entered an unlocked vehicle on July 18 and took numerous items, including a handgun. Schoelhamer allegedly took possession of the stolen handgun and stored it at a residence in O'Fallon. Police later recovered the gun and other stolen items. 

St. Peters Police were able to return some of the recovered items, but are still in possession of numerous unclaimed items. Police are waiting for the property owner's to report the thefts. 

Schoelhamer is currently on a two-year suspended imposition of sentence probation for a prior stealing charge. The probation started in June of this year. Schoelhamer currently has two criminal cases pending in State Court for thefts. 

Ivanoff has also started a two-year suspended imposition of sentence probation for a stealing, trespassing and receiving stolen property charge. That probation started in May 2012.  

Schoelhamer and Hogg were arrested on July 2 by St. Peters Police Officers for allegedly breaking into numerous vehicles and receiving stolen property. That case is currently at St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office awaiting charges.

Schoelhamer, Kelley and Hogg will be transferred to St. Charles County Jail and Ivanoff was released on a state summons.
