St. Peters Police Blotter: Man Wires $6,900 to Person Posing as Grandson
Also in the St. Peters crime report juveniles fight over headphones and an Xbox and prescription drugs taken from residence.
The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.
• Incident No. 24504: Burglary, first block of South Hillview Drive. An unknown person(s) entered victim’s home through an open window on the ground floor. The victim was at work at the time of the burglary. The suspect(s) stole an Xbox, two paintball guns and various prescription medications from the residence.
• Incident No. 24429: Felony Stealing, 1200 block of Saravalle Drive. The victim sent approximately $6900 in MoneyGrams to Mexico after he received a phone call from someone claiming to be his grandson. The caller claimed he was was arrested in Mexico and needed money. After sending the money, it was discovered the grandson never left the country nor called his grandfather. Suspects are unknown.
• Incident No. 24317: Assault, 8000 block of Mexico Road. Juveniles got into a physical altercation on school property over headphones. There were no injuries. One juvenile was transported to Juvenile Detention.

interesting story...i had my paintball gun stolen once, but it did not turn out well for the person who stole it. they were able to retrieve it especially cuz it was a higher quality gun that i got from http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/Paintball.htm its amazing how people can do that and think they can get away.
