St. Peters Police Blotter: Metal Detector, Power Washer and Boom Box Stolen from Unlocked Cars

Other items in the St. Peters crime report include a wallet stolen from the St. Peters Rec-Plex and home burglary.

 

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 19192: Stealing, first block of Sunnyfields Road. Three vehicles were broken into overnight. All vehicles were unlocked. A metal detector ($700), two flashlights ($20 each), power sprayer ($150) and a boom box ($50) were taken from the vehicles. A stolen mountain bike, valued at $550, which was last seen in the backyard, was also reported as stolen. 

• Incident No. 19252: Burglary, first block of Jane Drive. An unknown person entered victim’s home, possibly through dog door, and stole cash. There are no suspects at this time.

• Incident No. 19321: Stealing, 5200 Mexico Road . An unknown person stole victim’s wallet from an unsecure locker in gym facility. The wallet contained two credit cards, drivers license and cash.

Well, Melvin... However, I do agree with you... Unlocked cars with valubales inside, doggie door, unlocked gym locker... You do the math. We take great measures with safety and taking the time to secure our valubles. In any case, it is sad that people have to go to those measures, but, that's just how it goes these days.
