St. Peters Police Blotter: Stolen 300-Pound Storm Drain Covers Edition

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.
• Incident No. 7972: Forgery, 3500 block of Westport Drive. An unknown person cashed a $5,000 check on a closed business account. The theft occurred several years after the business account was closed. The invesitgation is active and the police have possible suspects.
• Incident No. 8041: Stealing, 1000 block of Turner Blvd. Two storm drain covers were stolen from a private parking lot. Each storm drain cover weighs approximately 300 pounds and is worth $300/piece. There are no suspects at this time.
• Incident No. 8050: Stealing, 2500 block of Hackman Road. An unknown person took students wallet from classroom at Francis Howell North. The wallet contained, cash, debit card and a check. Active investigation.
• Incident No. 8063: Burglary, 2700 block of Highway 94. In relation to a burglary which occurred several weeks ago, involving a former janitor stealing prescription medication from medical building, it was discovered he was also responsible for another theft more than six months ago which was not originally reported.
