St. Peters Summer Camps Registration Begins March 12
St. Peters Summer Camps will take place at the new Cultural Arts Center in City Hall.
This summer St. Peters kids can excersie the mind and body all at one camp.
St. Peters Summer Art Camps have moved to the new St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre in the west wing of City Hall. Art Campers can exercise the imagination by creating art, and—new this year—they can spend part of the time getting some exercise at the Rec-Plex next door or in the surrounding City Centre Park. Swimming, ice skating, playtime in the park and more activities will be mixed in with Art Camp.
The St. Peters Rec-Plex, meanwhile, gives you the option of Activities Camps or Sports Camps—all Rec-Plex campers have swimming, ice skating, playing in the gym and park, going on field trips and other activities. The difference is that Sports Campers also train on one of these sports each day: soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, Rink Rats hockey or figure skating.
All Rec-Plex Campers and full-day and half-day Art Campers receive free T-shirts each week.
The first weekly Rec-Plex Camps begin May 31. Art Camps begin June 6.
Art Camps are available for ages 2 and up.
Rec-Plex Activities Camps are open to ages 6-12. Most Sports Camps are for kids ages 7-12, except figure skating camp (ages 6-13).
Register for St. Peters Summer Camps in person at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Road. Art Camps also are available through online registration using the Rec-Connect feature at www.stpetersmo.net.
Bring a St. Peters Resident Privilege Card when you register to receive lower weekly fees for St. Peters Art Camps and Rec-Plex Activities Camps. All Rec-Plex annual members and GOLD PLUS members also receive reduced fees for Activities Camps.
