St. Peters Woman Among Two Injured in Interstate 70 Crash
St. Peters resident Laandra Fields and O'Fallon resident Judith Bronaugh were injured in a crash on Friday afternoon.
Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County.
St. Peters resident Laandra Fields, 24, and Judith Bronaugh, 58, of O'Fallon, were both taken to St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles with minor injuries after the crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , the third driver in the crash, 43-year-old Bowling Green resident Timothy Kirkman, failed to yield to slowing traffic on westbound Interstate 70 just east of Zumbehl Road. Kirkman's 2005 Dodge Ram struck the rear of Bronaugh's vehicle, which caused Bronaugh's car to strike Fields' vehicle.
Kirkman's vehicle sustained minor damage in the collision, but he was uninjured in the crash. The other drivers had moderate damage and had to be towed.
All three drivers were wearing their safety devices.
