A 26-year-old O'Fallon man was injured Wednesday morning in a single-car rollover crash in Bates County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, John Hartog was driving along County Road 1002, less than a mile west of County Road 9001, when his car slid out of control and ran off the right side of the road. His car then overturned before coming to a rest on its side.

Hartog sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

Kathleen Smith, 24, of St. Peters, was also in the car and did not sustain injuries.
