After having a loved one die of an overdose, I hope he is in prison for years. This is a huge problem and if addicts need help there are so many clinics that can now help without having to wait. Support advertising of these places maybe more people will do the rehab than feel they can't!

Lorie you are an idiot. It's hard enough but if you don't have insurance or only medicaid watch out!!! You have to wait at least 3 weeks to get in....that's if the place will take you AT ALL.You don't know what you're talking about,so don't post that!

Prison is better than death which is what will happen eventually if he continues using. I hope he gets the help he needs and accepts the help. Most heroin addicts do not have insurance or the money to get into a program and Bridgeway is an excellent treatment center but it can take a long time to get a bed. I would suggest if he has a caring probation officer talk to her/him and ask to have him placed in Bridgeway instead of prison. My sons parole officer called and had him there the next morning and he has been clean for 4 years down and has a very good life. He has struggles building his life back but he did it. Good luck to you Kyle and to his family, don't give up on him. There is hope.
