A diabetes topic is presented on the second Tuesday of each month (except June, July, August and December) by a certified diabetes educator or a speaker that has expertise in the topic to be discussed (a physician, dietitian, etc.). There is no charge or registration to attend. Light refreshments are served. Call Patty Shelton, certified diabetes educator, at 636-947-5573 for more information.

More About SSM St. Joseph Health Center
SSM St. Joseph Health Center opened in 1885 as the first hospital in St. Charles County. Today, the hospital is the only level 2 trauma center in the county and has more than 360 beds. In 2010, the hospital opened Phase 1 of a new emergency department that includes a separate entrance for ambulance patients, 24 individual rooms and four emergency bays. The SSM Heart Institute, SSM Center for Sleep Disorders, SSM Cancer Care and SSM Vascular Institute are located in the hospital.
