Youth Sports are big at the Y! Our program is progressive with multiple age-specific levels. Games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition and
family involvement.
YMCA Rookie Basketball
Ages 3-4 years. Fundamental clinics designed to teach kids the basics of the games in a fun environment. One practice per week for seven weeks.
Y-Winners Basketball
Non-competitive program where children learn character values and the fundamentals of the sport taught by volunteer coaches. Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Y-Competitive Basketball
For 5th - 9th grade boys. Competitive league with games played on Saturdays. Teams provide their own jerseys and
practice sites. Register as a team for a seven game schedule.

More About YMCA
This Y is designated the St. Charles County Family YMCA. It has a number of programs to bring families a higher quality of life. The core of it is physical activities and relaxation, which in a strange way go together; i.e. a fast and furious basketball game followed by the sauna and whirlpool. This Y has an early childhood education center, a preschool and a school-age child care program. There is a fitness center, gymnastics center and locker rooms. On the website patrons can find program schedules for many activities. This is a membership club.
