ABLE 6th Annual Trivia Night: Friday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at 560 St Peters Howell Rd, St. Charles. Registration fee includes beer, soda and coffee. Feel free to bring your own snacks but no outside alcoholic beverages, a cash bar is also available. Must be 21 years or older to participate. There will be 10 rounds with bonus rounds, a 50/50, and a silent auction. The winning table will receive a prize. Artists Holiday Boutique: Friday and Saturday starting at 7 a.m. at 606 Falling Brook Dr, O Fallon. Find holiday gifts for your loved ones. You will find hand painted furniture, ornaments, jewelry, pottery, baked goods and more. A portion of the proceeds benefit Turning Point, a women and children's abuse center. 

Saint Peter Catholic Church of St. Charles Trivia Night: Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at 324 S 3rd St, St. Charles$20/player, tables of 10 ($200). Event features 50/50, silent auction and specialty vodka drinks.

Shrek: The Musical: Friday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. at J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, 2300 W Clay St, St. Charles. The musical based on the popular children's movie includes 19 new songs, laughs and a twisted fairy tale. Tickets start at $32.50 and top out at $49.50. 

One Stop Christmas Shop: Saturday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne, 7701 Highway N, O Fallon. Features vendors as well as many crafters selling gifts for all your Christmas shopping needs. Attendance Prizes will be pulled every 15 minutes starting at 10:15am.

Taste of Christmas Chic Boutique: Saturday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. at Academy of the Sacred Heart, 619 N 2nd St, St. Charles. Nearly 40 vendors offering jewelry, clothing, accessories, home decor, candles, baskets, embroidereed products, stationery, hand-carved figurines and more. Sponsored by the Mothers Club, proceeds benefit the school scholarship fund.

Luncheon / Auction for St. Jude Research Hospital for Children: Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 801 1st Capitol Dr, St. Charles. The Rho Chi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International hosts its annual event to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets are $20 and include silent and oral auctions and lunch. To purchase tickets, call Ruth at 636/947-4843.

St. Peters Veterans Day Ceremony: Saturday, Nov. 10 from 10-11 a.m. at . Honor local veterans with a ceremony. 

Shop for a Cause: Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. at 11 Meadows Circle Dr, Lake Saint Louis. Come out to start your holiday shopping, enjoy wine and Appetizers. Parmida Cares and will donate a portion of the proceeds to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Visit and support Cathy Herbert, who is preparing to do the Leukemia Run in January. Event also features raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing. 

Bobby Wallace Basketball Camp: Sunday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. at Progress Park, 968 Meyer Rd, Wentzville. Experienced coach Bobby Wallace teaches the fundamentals to kids ages 6-13 years old. Cost is $70. 

St. Charles City/County Veterans Day Commemoration: Sunday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at 1050 S Riverside Dr, St. Charles. The event features patriotic music from the St. Charles Municipal Band, opening remarks from St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith and St. Charles County Director of Administration Chuck Gross and VFW Service Officer Bob Murphy, a Vietnam War combat infantryman, as the keynote speaker. 

O'Fallon Veterans Day Ceremony: Sunday Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to noon. at O'Fallon's Veterans Memorial Walk. The ceremony honors all U.S. veterans, with welcoming remarks by Mayor Bill Hennessey and remarks by keynote speaker Brigadier General Edmund T. Beckette. Two local students will read their winning essays submitted to the VFW’s “The Voice of Democracy” contest and “The Patriot’s Pen.” And Mayor Hennessy and Vietnam veteran Sheldon Hartsfield will dedicate two benches built for the Veterans’ Memorial Walk by Eagle Scouts Logan Funderburk and Joshua Anderson of Troop 858.

Holiday Entertaining Open House: Sunday, Nov. 11 from 1- 4 p.m. at Historic Heald Home, 1001 Jessup Drive (in Fort Zumwalt Park), O'Fallon. There will be vendors representing gift, decorating, and food ideas for the upcoming holiday season. This is an open house so people can come as their day allows them. Tours are available for $2. For more information, call 636-379-5605.

Rendezvous in St. Charles Concert Series: Sunday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, 200 S Main St., St. Charles. South Main Preservation Society presents this free concert featuring Geoffrey Seitz with Dug Out Canoe.

We already have 2 dogs, so I don't think we are in a position to take on a third dog. Your ad caughtRead More my attention because I love German Shepherds and I had to put my Great Pyrenees to sleep in 2010. The mix of these 2 wonderful breeds makes your dog a really unique and interesting dog. If you could keep me aprised of her situation, I would appreciate it.
