Nearly 25,000 Attend Celebrate St. Peters
Attendance is up at the fourth annual festival.
About 25,000 people came to the 2013 Celebrate St. Peters festival Friday and Saturday, in spite of a rainy start to the weekend.
Three times as many people came out for events and music performance Friday as did last year, said Lisa Bedian, spokeswoman for the city.
Bedian said more people have heard about the festival, which is in its fourth
year.
"We were a little bit worried because the weather was kind of interesting but things got better and better," she said.
The festival included musical performances by The Brothers, St. Louis Express, The Little River Band and the Fabulous Motown Review.
