Help Kids with Nutrition Habits

OASIS is looking for volunteers age 50+ to implement the CATCH Healthy Habits nutrition program with children in grades K-5. Teach kids healthy ways of living and have fun at the same time too! The program will be offered in the City of St. Louis (Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Clubs), St. Louis County (Ladue, Jennings and Pagedale) and St. Charles County (City of St. Charles and St. Charles Boys & Girls Clubs).

New volunteer training will be held February 20th & 21st in Clayton and February 28th in St. Charles. Contact Shelby at 314-653-4092 or sschroeder@oasisnet.org to RSVP.

Make a Hot Meal for Ronald McDonald House Families

Volunteers will bring ingredients to prepare a dish on-site for guests at the Ronald McDonald House and enjoy a time of fellowship and food together.  The project coordinator will ensure that together, the various dishes create a balanced, interesting, and complete meal for the 25-30 residents of the home plus the group volunteers.  It is a wonderful opportunity to prepare a meal for families who are going through difficult times.

To sign up to help on Feb. 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., head here.
