St. Peters Man Pleads Guilty To Abuse Charge After Slapping His Wife
  • A St. Peters man was accused of hitting his wife June 15 and pleaded guilty to the charge five days later. Clinton Weil, 66, of the 400 block of Sutters Mill Road in St. Peters, pleaded guilty June 20 to third-degree domestic assault.
Cici's Pizza Looking to Open More St. Louis-Area Stores, Targeting St. Peters

  • Cici's Pizza, a national chain, is looking to open four new restaurants in the St. Louis area in the next five years and one of the potential locations is St. Peters. 
Former St. Peters Chamber President Pleads Guilty to Stealing
  • Former St. Peters Chamber of Commerce President Edward L. Weeks Jr. pleaded guilty earlier this month to stealing more than $177,000 from the group. Weeks, 51,  got a seven-year suspended execution of sentence and was placed on five years of probation, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Weeks was also ordered to pay restitution. The Post-Dispatch reported Judge Rick Zerr ordered Weeks to pay $50,000 immediately, to assign his $5,000 bond toward the restitution and to pay an additional $38,000 in monthly installments.
Former St. Peters Hockey Player Brandon Bollig Wins Stanley Cup
  • Brandon Bollig, a Francis Howell grad and St. Charles native who started his hockey career at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, is among the newest winners of hockey's top trophy. Bollig's Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night to clinch the Cup.
