'Dial M for Murder' Opens May 13 at Arts Centre

ACT II Community Theater show will be performed on May 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 8:00 p.m. and on May 15 and 22 at 2:00 p.m.

The second ACT II Community Theater show of the season will open Friday, May 13.

Curtains will go up for the opening night of "Dial M For Murder" at 8 p.m. on Friday. The Fredereck Knott murder mystery is being directed by Dr. Judy Yordon, Professor Emeritus of Performance Studies at Ball State University.

Yordon will have a chance to direct Mayor Len Pagano. The St. Peters mayor following his appearance in "You Can't Take it With You" in January.

Pagano will be joined by regular castmembers Shannon Burgdorf Dooley (playing Margot Wendice), Jeff Dent (playing Tony Wendice), Kirk Sayles (playing Max Halliday), Justin Long (playing Captain Lesgate), Paul James (playing Inspector Hubbard) and Frank Meyers (playing Thompson).
 
The story of "Dial M for Murder" revolves around Tony Wendice's plan to murder his wife.  Max Halliday, television murder mystery writer (and Margot's former lover) explains to Tony that in real life something always goes wrong. A crime is committed, but just what exactly happens will have to be seen. 

The show will be performed on May 13, May 14, May 20, and May 21 at 8:00 p.m. and on May 15 and May 22  at 2:00 p.m.

All shows will be performed at ,  located in City Hall.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.
