Free outdoor showing of "Cars 2"

Enjoy the nice weather and watch “Cars 2” on the big screen outside at St. Charles Community College at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23. SCC’s Student Activities will host a free “sit-in” movie on the lawn near the Technology Building, near the orange parking lot, on SCC’s campus.

“This is a perfect opportunity to lay out the blanket, bust out the snacks and enjoy a free showing of ‘Cars 2’ on the big screen with your family and friends,” said Kelley Pfeiffer, SCC student activities coordinating counselor.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks. Free popcorn will be provided, and snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase. The rain location is the College Center Gymnasium.
