Best Teacher: Bonnie Haarmann at St. Joseph School-Cottleville

First-grade teacher Bonnie Haarmann at St. Joseph School-Cottleville earns high marks from a parent.

Mrs. Bonnie Haarmann 1st grade at St. Joseph School-Cottleville is our nomination for best teacher.

She is the nicest, most patient teacher I have known. She took special time out with my son to help him with reading and was very good with him in all areas of school, being away from home, new social skills being developed. She is a great caretaker of our children away from home—and the children really learn, too. My son has taken huge strides this year, academically and socially.

Mrs. Haarmann has instilled in my son a postive start to his long school career. This first grade teacher has allowed my son to know the positives of school and to trust his teacher. My son is excited and confident going to school—Mrs. Haarmann deserves a lot of credit for getting the kids excited and embracing education and learning.

It was nice to know that my son is in love with someone as nice as her ... it's hard when your first son loves only mommy for so long, and comes home and says "I love my teacher, mom !" I am so glad it's someone as nice as Ms. Haarmann. We are very thankful she is my son's teacher.

Beth—mother of Luke

We already have 2 dogs, so I don't think we are in a position to take on a third dog. Your ad caughtRead More my attention because I love German Shepherds and I had to put my Great Pyrenees to sleep in 2010. The mix of these 2 wonderful breeds makes your dog a really unique and interesting dog. If you could keep me aprised of her situation, I would appreciate it. I wouldn't want her put to sleep or anything. Find me on Facebook... Rochelle Hume
