120-Unit Apartment Complex Planned in St. Peters

Board of Aldermen will consider a planned urban development agreement for the project Thursday.

An 120-unit apartment complex is planned for a 5.98 acre site in Cave Springs off of North and South Cloverleaf Road, behind Kokomo Joe’s activity center.

The St. Peters Board of Aldermen will consider a planned urban development agreement with the developer, Covington Realty Partners.

The complex, which will be called The Vanguard at Cave Springs, will include five, three-story buildings, a clubhouse and swimming pool.

The Vanguard at Cave Springs is one of three apartment complexes Covington Realty is building in the St. Louis area.

The company expects to open a 202-unit complex in University City in August and 174-unit complex in Creve Coeur in June 2014.

Construction on the St. Peters complex is expected to begin in October and open in April 2014.
