Cardinals Legend David Eckstein Set to Appear at St. Peters Menards

The former World Series MVP will be on hand from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to sign autographs.

Menards opening celebration continues on Wednesday with former Cardinal fan favorite. 

Former St. Louis Cardinal David Eckstein will be signing autographs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the St. Peters store as part of the grand opening events.

Eckstein, a shortstop, was a member of the 2006 World Series Cardinals team and was named the MVP of the series. He also was a world champion in 2002 while playing the the Anaheim Angels. He was first team All-American in 1996 at the University of Florida before his Major League Baseball career.

Also appearing at the store will be Paul Menard’s 2011 Indy Brickyard winning No. 27 car and Matt Crafton’s No. 88 Truck. The cars will be on site from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 24 and April 25.

Menards opened its St. Peters store on April, the first store in the St. Louis area.
