Fire-Damaged Shamrocks Pub & Grill Plans Re-Opening in Two Months

Loyal Shamrock's customers say they'll be back.

After a fire June 11 temporarily closed Shamrocks Pub and Grill, their fans showed the St. Peters pub an outpouring of support.

Shamrock's thanked their loyal customers via their Facebook page:

We would like to take a second away from the mess to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support. We can not explain the amount of comments, messages, phone calls, and texts we have recieved. We love you all! You have uplifted our spirits and made this process a little easier. It looks like we will be closed for about 2 months. The building has a ton of smoke damage. But we are rebuilding and we will be better than ever! WE ARE SHAMROCK STRONG!

In response to the announcement, Shamrock's fans let them know that they'd be there when the pub re-opened:

Bob McKeown said, "We're gonna need a bigger bar! When you re-open those doors, you'd better be ready for the flood of patrons who can't wait to return!"

Michael Schaffner said, "A true strength of any business is the ability to overcome loss! You got this; keep up the great work! Amy and I will see you soon!"

Heather Girone said, "If there's anything we can do to lend a hand, let us know!"

No cause has been released for the fire, which caused substantial damage to the restaurant's kitchen.
