After Jason James switched from smoking cigarettes to e-cigarettes, he felt so much better he decided to open a vapor lounge to give people in St. Peters nicotine-free options.
"I haven't felt this good since I was a teenager," James said.
James opened the Smoke Safe Premium Vapor Lounge with co-owner Herschell Ivory July 20 at 1235 Jungermann Road in St. Peters. The shop is open from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 10 pm Friday and Saturday and 12 to 4 pm Sunday.
The store sells vapor cigarettes and e-liquid in 15 flavors, made in the US, James said. E-liquid can be nicotine-free or contain some nicotine.
"People who are trying to quit, or people who have quit are our most consistent customers," he said.
"Why not pay less to save your own life and be around for your family," he said.
