Chemical Spill Forces Evacuation of St. Peters Dialysis Center

The spill produced a "foul odor."

A chemical spill on Monday at the St. Peters Dialysis Center forced an evacuation of the facility. 

According to a report in the Associated Press, a dialysis center worker has been hospitalized following the chemical spill. The AP reports the spill caused a "foul odor" and the pungent odor apparently made several people sick. Eleven patients were evacuated from the facility.

According to the report, the building was re-opened later in the day. The AP with the exception of the hospitalized worker, no other employees needed hospitalization. The AP had no details about the worker's condition.
