City Offering Document Shredding for St. Peters, Cottleville Residents

The event will take place on Saturday, May 11.

The city of St. Peters will be offering documenting shredding for St. Peters and Cottleville residents this weekend.

Residents from both cities will have an opportunity from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. to safely destroy unneeded documents on Saturday, May 11. St. Peters is bringing a large mobile shredder to the Environmental Operations Building, 135 Ecology Drive. This is a drive through service that is under cover at and will occur rain or shine.

The city is advising potential shredders to place the documents in cardboard boxes not too heavy to life and bring them to the Health and Environmental Operations Building. There is a limit of five boxes per vehicle. All of the shredded material will be recycled including the cardboard boxes if they are not needed back.

Do not bring computer discs or hanging file rods. If you can tear it, then you can shred it using this service. The documents may contain staples or paper clips.

This free service is for St. Peters and Cottleville resident households only. Residency will be checked.
