City Offering Trips to Watch Fireworks in Downtown St. Louis

St. Peters offering motorcoach rides to Fair St. Louis.

Fair St. Louis downtown always draws a crowd. Many gather downtown to enjoy the live music and watch the fireworks.

The city fills with people making the trip downtown, and trip home, a bit of a hassel with all the traffic. The city of St. Peters is offering an alternative solution—a way for St. Peters residents to enjoy the show and have no worries about getting home. 

St. Peters will be providing air-conditioned motorcoaches for a special Fourth of July day trip to Fair St. Louis. The deadline to register for the trip is June 25. The cost of the trip is $68 per person. The fee covers transportation, dinner, hotel access, dessert, and all tips and gratuities.

Upon arrival, guests will be able to enjoy the sights, sounds and all of the festivities of Fair St. Louis. Later, indulge in a special barbecue dinner buffet in the “cool comforts” of the Crowne Plaza—St. Louis Hotel. Adults 21 and over can enjoy Lumiere Place Casino from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Games such as bingo and trivia will be available inside during the fair for participants who want to cool down. Cap off the evening with dessert at the exclusive elevated viewing area provided by Crowne Plaza, all while enjoying the fireworks. This is a non-narrated tour. Walking is required if you plan to visit the Fair.

The motorcoach will leave St. Peters at 1:15 p.m. from the west parking lot at St. Peters City Hall, located at Mexico Road and St. Peters Centre Blvd. in St. Peters, MO. The estimated time of return is 10:30 p.m.
