Cottleville St. Patrick's Parade Steps Off at Noon Saturday

The celebration includes a 7K race and Fun Run.

St. Patrick's Day in Cottleville has become a tradition in St. Charles County. This year's event will be held Saturday, March 16.

The day kicks off at 8 a.m. with the Run for the Helmet, a 7K race and Fun Run. The course begins near the fire station and loops through Cottleville, finishing at Sherlock's Steak & Seafood for the post-race party.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at noon on Saturday. The route for the parade starts at Cottleville Parkway and Weiss Road. The parade will follow Weiss Road to Highway N, traveling through historic downtown Cottleville. The route then turns left at Hwy. N and ends at Francis Howell Central.

The parade is expected to have approximately 100 units including "clans," non-commercial groups of family members, neighbors or other organized groups.

Shuttles will run beginning at 6:30 a.m., with a break for the 7K run, and then resuming again until 4 p.m. Visitors may park at Old America Furniture (5991 Mid Rivers Mall Drive), St. Charles Community College (4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive) or Warren Elementary School (141 Weiss Road). The shuttle will drop off and pick up from Sherlock's, Cottleville Wine Seller and the Cottleville Fire Station.
