Detailed Census Data Reveals More About St. Peters
Latest information from the United States Census Bureau helps paint a picture of city.
The makeup of St. Peters in the last more years is a bit more clear after more detailed data was released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
The latest release of information is part of an ongoing series of information dumps from the U.S. Census Bureau as it compiles information from the 2010 census conducted last spring. The earlier release of Missouri data gave basic information about the population of the state and communities within Missouri, broken down by general categories of race and ethnicity. The information also had some basic information about housing capacity and occupancy rates in the state.
Among other things, this week's release, provides further breakdowns in several of those areas, including a more detailed accounting of age groups in the state and its local communities. It also breaks down the Latino/Hispanic community into several nations of origin and gives more details about the nature and makeup of the 2.4 million households in the state.

- [1] Other Asian alone, or two or more Asian categories.
- [2] Other Pacific Islander alone, or two or more Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander categories.
- [3] One of the four most commonly reported multiple-race combinations nationwide in Census 2000.
- [4] In combination with one or more of the other races listed. The six numbers may add to more than the total population, and the six percentages may add to more than 100 percent because individuals may report more than one race.
