Friday Food Critic: Review Stumpy's House of Bar B Que

Each week, we nominate a new restaurant for you to review. That's right, you're the local expert. This week we look at the at Stumpy's House of Bar B Que in St. Peters.

When it comes to restaurants,  has plenty.

St. Peters has some local places that many would consider community gems, some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area and St. Peters certainly have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

We could throw some money at a professional food critic, but that's not exactly what Patch is all about. We'd much rather know the opinion of the fine folks that eat there day-in and day-out.

It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

This week's restaurant up for review is . Stumpy's House of Bar B Que is a popular local barbeque restaurant on Jungermann Road. The pulled pork is delicious at Stumpy's or customers can dig into pork and beef ribs. Hundreds of classic local sports photographs adorn the walls at Stumpy's, which was established in 2004.

To review , simply click on their name. You'll be directed toward their community listing in our places directory, where you can rate them on a five-star system or write a personal review.

At St. Peters Patch, we believe your words of wisdom are better than any food critic.

What are you waiting for? Let the reviewing begin!

I know this food critic feature started last year, however I am just finding out about it now. I originally looked for reviews to Parrots Bar (one of the first suggested restaurants) and there was no link in the article. I then searched for other early (August/September 2012) restaurant suggestions and they all lacked a link to the restaurant in their Friday Food Critic articles. I finally came across this Stumpy's BBQ page where it looks like the writer or editor got frustrated with readers' apparent ineptitude and put the "simple" directions in bold, however the restaurant still lacks a link to go to it's page. At least there was a hint in this article, the "Places Directory" was linked. Now I can find reviews of the restaurants that never got linked in their Food Critic articles. Maybe you could update the first month or two of articles where there seems to be a problem with missing hyperlinks.
