Get Out: Audition for a Play, Watch a Scary Movie, Go to a Halloween Party

  • When/Where? , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 pm. The movies will be shown in the auditorium of the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building.
  • What? St. Charles Community College (SCC) concludes its third annual Scary Movie Marathon with the 1982 version of Poltergeist.Before the movie, guests can hear at lecture on “Pursuing the Paranormal,” with Greg Myers, president and investigative coordinator of Paranormal Task Force (PTF), and Sandy Oates, PTF vice president and case management coordinator.

  • When/Where? , 1200 Corporate Pky in Wentzville at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. 
  • What? Teens are invited to create their own zombie felt creature and enjoy Halloween treats for free on Friday. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed, Most Creative, Scariest and Silliest costume. 

  • When/Where? , 100 N Main St, O Fallon on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • What?  are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to host a . O’Fallon residents are welcome to drop off expired, unused or unwanted prescription medications free of charge with no questions asked. Police host the program and help prevent prescription drug abuse and theft by collecting and safely disposing of unneeded medications.

  • When/Where? , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8:30 a.m. 
  •  What? St. Charles Community College’s Young People’s Theatre invites children age 8-18 to open auditions for  “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. A parent must be present with the children auditioning. “It’s a Wonderful Life” will be performed in the theater of the Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 16-17, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 17-18.

Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service Children's Halloween Party

  • When/Where? 4116 McClay Road in St. Peters from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30.
  • What? There will be food, drinks, games, and a costume contest, all free of charge at this second annual Halloween party. 

Halloween Concert 

  • When/Where? , at 1 Saint Peters Centre Blvd in St. Peters on Oct 29 from 7-9 p.m. 
  • What? St. Peters residents can see the St. Charles Symphony in a special spooky Halloween concert on Oct. 29 at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Center. Musicians will be in costume, and kids who don costumes will receive special treats.

  • When/Where? , 1610 Willott Rd. in St. Peters on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. 
  • What? Shop from local vendors, handmade artist and crafters.  Showcasing jewelry, hand sewn creations, accessories, art, photography.  All proceeds benefit Willott Road Community and Christian Academy. 

  • When/Where? , 1 Convention Center Plz in St. Charles at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. 
  • What? This free event includes giveaways, options to adopt, discounted animal care, live entertainment, demonstrations, author readings and book signings. 

Monsters in the Meadows

  • When/Where?  in Lake Saint Louis from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. 
  • What? This annual Halloween event allows kids to trick-or-treat from store to store, enjoy pumpkin painting and hayrides.

Fall Hayrides at Broemmelsiek Park

  • When/Where? , 1615 Schwede Rd. in Wentzville from 6-8 p.m. on Friday-Sunday. 
  • What? Two tractor pulled wagons take guests on a 45-minute ride through tree-lined fields of the park. Afterwards, participants can enjoy sitting around a bonfire for an hour to roast their own treats. Advanced reservations are required by contacting the St. Charles County Parks Department at 636-949-7535. The cost is $125 a wagon with a maximum of 20 people per wagon. 

  • When/Where? New Town Amphitheater at 3333 Rue Royale Ste 2 in St. Charles from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.  
  • What? 

  • When/Where? 1116 1st Capitol Dr. in St. Charles from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
  • What? Lindenwood University Campus YMCA celebrate Halloween with a trick-or-treat day for children 12 and under and their families. Events include face painting, candy and pumpkins. The cost is $1 for children and free for adults. 

  • When/Where? , 1900 W Randolph St. in St. Charles from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. 
  • What? St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department hosts a Halloween spooktacular event for kids ages 3-12. No reservations are necessary.
