How to Blog on St. Peters Patch

Become a Patch.com blogger in five easy steps.

So you want to blog for Patch? Here’s how to do it in 5 easy steps:

  1. Decide what you might like to write about. We're looking for people who want to share their area of "expertise" with their neighbors in St. Charles. Maybe you'd like to keep neighbors updated on your school. Perhaps you'd like to weigh in on local politics. If you like to garden, enjoy watching Cardinals, read lots of books or are a business owner, we'd love to talk to you.
  2. Create an account. Head to St. Peters Patch and click “Join” in the upper right corner. You’ll enter your name, an email address and a password, or you can join with your Facebook account. Then fill out your profile and upload a picture and describe yourself so readers know a little about you.
  3. Tell your editor! Go to our Blog on Patch page and tell editor Joe Barker in a sentence or two what your blog would be about.
  4. Wait! Not for long. Joe will approve your request and send you an email with all you need to know!
  5. Blog. Once you are approved, you'll have access to Blog Central.

It's that easy. We can't wait to hear what you have to say.

If you can't wait to share your stories, remember you can always submit a photo, video, announcement or event on our sites for free.
