Jungermann Resurfacing Pushed Back to Aug. 1

Road resurfacing project expected to run from Aug. 1 to Aug. 5.

For the third time this month a road resurfacing project in St. Peters is being pushed back from its originally scheduled date.

A portion of Jungermann Road was supposed to get resurfaced today, July 26. Instead, thanks to an equipment malfunction, the project has been pushed back. A large piece of machinery that removes the existing asphalt broke and is in need of repairs.

With the delay, the project is now slated to run from Monday, Aug. 1, until Friday, Aug. 5.

Beginning at Mexico Road and continuing to Bartley Street, Jungermann will be resurfaced as part of St. Peters’ annual street maintenance program.

As is the case with most road projects, drivers can expect delays. Lanes will be closed while the surface of the road is removed and a new asphalt surface takes its place.
