Jungermann Road at Route 94 will be shut down for three nights starting Monday, Aug. 29 as long as the weather plays nice.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will shut down the road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The first shutdown will start on Monday with closures expected at the same time on Tuesday, Aug. 30, and Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Crews are closing Jungermann between the north and south outer roads for Route 94 to place concrete girders for the new bridge over Jungermann Road.
Drivers can take Queensbrooke Road and Harvester Road to detour around the closures. The detours will be marked.
On another part of the project further down the road will take place on Wednesday morning. Starting at 9 a.m. MoDOT will move traffic onto newly constructed pavement at Harvestowne Industrial Drive near Route 94 in St. Charles County..
Crews will start striping the new pavement at 9 a.m., weather permitting, and move traffic to the new pavement between eastbound Route 94 and the Regions Bank entrance before evening rush. Access to all businesses and the outer road will remain open.
To get to the 94 Convenience Store, drivers can use a temporary gravel entrance from the south outer road.
