Kisker Road Traffic Restrictions Begin March 3

MoDOT will restrict traffic on Kisker Road to one lane in each direction between Central School Road and Route 94, starting Thursday, March 3, weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will restrict traffic on Kisker Road to one lane in each direction between Central School Road and Route 94, starting Thursday, March 3, weather permitting.

On southbound Kisker Road, the roadway returns to two lanes in each direction just north of Route 94. Drivers will have one through lane and one left turn lane onto eastbound Route 94.

Crews will be rebuilding the section of Kisker Road north of Route 94 over the next several months. Crews will work on one half of the road, then switch traffic to the new pavement and work on the other half of the roadway.

This is part of a $25.5 million project to extend Route 364 from west of Central School Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles County. Crews will also construct bridges at Kisker Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive over the new route. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
