Lighting Up the Night Sky: Places to Watch Fireworks on the Fourth of July in St. Charles, St. Louis County

"Patch" has the scoop on where the parties are to celebrate Independence Day.

If you're looking for a way to celebrate the Fourth of July, the St. Louis area has it covered. With a vast array of fireworks displays, parades, live music, fairs and festivals, there's no shortage of activities. Here are five of the largest Independence Day events west of the Mississippi.

St. Charles Riverfest
When:

Florissant 4th of July Festivities

Hazelwood Independence Day Celebration
